FILM EDITING At 24, 25, or 29.97 frames per second, the first order of business is telling your story, conveying the emotions you want your audience to feel. The technology is there to support you, and should never get in the way.I maintain my NTSC/PAL Final Cut Pro suite with uncompressed capabilities in Hoboken, NJ, just 10 minutes from Manhattan by public transportation. It's over a bakery too, so it always smells wonderful. As an editor and editing instructor, I am fully versed in Avid and Final Cut Pro editing systems as well as After Effects compositing. I have worked professionally in this field for many years, having studied at The Edit Center and Film/Video Arts in New York City. Augmenting my technical skills, I have extensive background in both graphic design and creative writing, helping me to tell your story in the best way possible. In addition to cutting numerous independent features and shorts, I have worked on projects for VH1, PBS, Lion Television, Court TV, A&E, Oxygen, Fuse, ABC Family and others.
