Hi! I'm Ben Slatkin and I started Edit A Go-Go LLC in 2002. At the time I was a freelance film/tv editor and writer with a love for graphic design. I'm still the same guy, just more experienced, more talented, and frankly, more excited about all of this than ever before.
I recently finished work as VFX editor on Universal's Night School, starring Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish. The work itself is a natural extension of the motion graphics, visual effects and editing work I'd done in the past, and I loved every minute of the process. The film itself is hysterical and you should see it when it comes out September 28th.
I also just cut a short zombie comedy film called Too Late. Keep an eye out for it!
Just before the film I also did some work for Dan Rather and his News And Guts website. I look forward to collaborating with them again.
In the past I've done editing and design work for MTV, Travel Channel, NatGeo, Oxygen, PBS, Bravo, TLC, Al Jazeera America, HBO and more. The work has been done either in my own studio, at the network or in collaboration with production companies such as Left/Right, North/South, Left Field, Stick Figure Productions, Al Roker Entertainment, Urban Sled, Rockstar Productions and Indie City Films
I've cut branded content for Viacom and Buzzfeed, and have had my own original content featured in film festivals and online outlets around the world, including the Huffington Post, EliteDaily, DesignTaxi and more.
In collaboration with my wife, Heather Girardi, I've written, produced, shot & edited several comedy shorts. My degree in writing has been essential to my success as an editor, and I continue to write shorts, web series and other projects. I can write for you too- let's collaborate!
Don't miss Night School when it comes out Sept 28th!
